The enchanting stretch of coastline that extends between Positano and Vietri Sul Mare and overlooks the Gulf of Salerno, in Campania, is known worldwide as the Amalfi Coast.
This natural paradise has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997 and is currently one of the major tourist destinations in Italy, located less than 60 kilometers from Naples.

            The nearest airport is Naples, but the Rome airports are also viable options.


            From the airports in Rome, you can reach the train station “Roma Termini” or “Roma Tiburtina” and then take a one-hour high-speed train to Naples. The station to get off at is “Napoli Garibaldi”.

            The new airport “Salerno- Costa D’Amalfi” is an alternate option to travel to the Amalfi Coast.

            Visit the city of Amalfi

            Amalfi was one of the ancient Maritime Republics, and here it is certainly worth visiting the Cathedral of St. Andrew, the Arsenal Museum, and the Paper Museum. In Amalfi, there were once mills that fed factories for the production of “Amalfi paper,” which as early as 1220 was considered so precious that Frederick II prohibited its use for public acts. Among other things to do in Amalfi, we suggest you taste the specialty of local gastronomy: limoncello, produced with lemons from the Amalfi Coast PGI.

             

             

            Boat tour on the Amalfi Coast

            The Amalfi Coast is wonderful and with its 50 kilometers of enchanting coast offers scenarios of incomparable beauty. The most beautiful and complete way to visit it? Definitely with a boat tour. The boat tour on the Amalfi Coast will allow you to discover the most beautiful corners of the coast and visit some of the cities of the Amalfi Coast. So enjoy a whole day among crystal-clear waters, hidden beaches, and breathtaking landscapes.
             
             

            The ceramics of Vietri sul Mare

            The Amalfi Coast is a true explosion of colors and flavors, and it is very likely that this is where the art of ancient Vietri ceramics takes its cue. Famous and appreciated for the uniqueness and beauty of ceramics, the city of Vietri must be absolutely visited. Vietri is the ideal place to spend a few hours shopping, strolling through craft shops, and buying some typical souvenirs of the Amalfi Coast.
             
             

            Attend the Ravello Festival

            Ravello needs no introduction from both a hospitality and a scenic beauty point of view. Known worldwide, Ravello is nicknamed the city of Music.             A sweet visit from the famous Sal de Riso

            Sal de Riso, now famous internationally, is certainly the most famous pastry chef in Southern Italy. Despite his delights reaching the best hotels and outlets in Italy and Europe, it is worth visiting and spending a few hours with a Delizia al Limone or a Ricotta and Pear cake at the De Riso pastry shop in Minori. So if you are looking for a place to eat well on the Amalfi Coast, this is definitely one of them!

             

             

            Diving at Punta Campanella

            The Punta Campanella promontory is one of the most suggestive points of the entire Amalfi Coast, where you can see the Gulf of Salerno and the Gulf of Naples converge. In front of you, you will have a view of the island of Capri. This protected marine area offers its visitors unique and spectacular dives, thanks to the pleasantness of the places and the crystal-clear and uncontaminated water.

             

             

            Shopping in Positano

            Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast, is among the most enchanting and romantic places in the world. Also known as the city of “Positano Fashion,” it is a must to do some shopping in the many shops ranging from local craftsmanship to luxury boutiques, overlooking the seafront.
             
             

            The Valley of the Mills

            For lovers of natural landscapes, a visit to the uncontaminated naturalistic oasis of the Valley of the Mills, one of the most suggestive in Italy, cannot be missed. It starts from the ancient medieval village of Atrani and crosses the valley of the Dragone stream, until you reach the locality of Pontone, where you access the reserve of the Valley of the Mills. Here you can see a lush vegetation of tropical stamp, as well as waterfalls and springs, which are a natural habitat for rare plants and amphibians.
             
             

            Path of the Gods

            The Amalfi Coast is famous worldwide for its natural beauty, so we couldn’t help but put a hike on the Path of the Gods in first place among the things to do, from which, on clearer days, you can admire in all its splendor this corner of paradise that enchants numerous tourists and visitors day after day. It is a nature trail in the Lattari mountains, suitable for walks and excursions, which runs along the entire coastal strip for 7 km. In the hamlet of Positano, Nocelle, you will find perhaps the most interesting stretch of the Path of the Gods; in fact, it is here that the landscape becomes suggestive thanks to the alternation of pine forests, caves to explore, and especially spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast.

                      The nearest airport is Naples, but the Rome airports are also viable options.


                      From the airports in Rome, you can reach the train station “Roma Termini” or “Roma Tiburtina” and then take a one-hour high-speed train to Naples. The station to get off at is “Napoli Garibaldi”.

                      The new airport “Salerno- Costa D’Amalfi” is an alternate option to travel to the Amalfi Coast.

                      Visit the city of Amalfi

                      Amalfi was one of the ancient Maritime Republics, and here it is certainly worth visiting the Cathedral of St. Andrew, the Arsenal Museum, and the Paper Museum. In Amalfi, there were once mills that fed factories for the production of “Amalfi paper,” which as early as 1220 was considered so precious that Frederick II prohibited its use for public acts. Among other things to do in Amalfi, we suggest you taste the specialty of local gastronomy: limoncello, produced with lemons from the Amalfi Coast PGI.

                      The Amalfi Coast is wonderful and with its 50 kilometers of enchanting coast offers scenarios of incomparable beauty. The most beautiful and complete way to visit it?                       A sweet visit from the famous Sal de Riso

                      Sal de Riso, now famous internationally, is certainly the most famous pastry chef in Southern Italy. Despite his delights reaching the best hotels and outlets in Italy and Europe, it is worth visiting and spending a few hours with a Delizia al Limone or a Ricotta and Pear cake at the De Riso pastry shop in Minori. So if you are looking for a place to eat well on the Amalfi Coast, this is definitely one of them!

                       

                       

                      Diving at Punta Campanella

                      The Punta Campanella promontory is one of the most suggestive points of the entire Amalfi Coast, where you can see the Gulf of Salerno and the Gulf of Naples converge. In front of you, you will have a view of the island of Capri.                       Shopping in Positano

                      Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast, is among the most enchanting and romantic places in the world. Also known as the city of “Positano Fashion,” it is a must to do some shopping in the many shops ranging from local craftsmanship to luxury boutiques, overlooking the seafront.
                       
                       

                      The Valley of the Mills

                      For lovers of natural landscapes, a visit to the uncontaminated naturalistic oasis of the Valley of the Mills, one of the most suggestive in Italy, cannot be missed. It starts from the ancient medieval village of Atrani and crosses the valley of the Dragone stream, until you reach the locality of Pontone, where you access the reserve of the Valley of the Mills. Here you can see a lush vegetation of tropical stamp, as well as waterfalls and springs, which are a natural habitat for rare plants and amphibians.
                       
                       

                      Path of the Gods

                      The Amalfi Coast is famous worldwide for its natural beauty, so we couldn’t help but put a hike on the Path of the Gods in first place among the things to do, from which, on clearer days, you can admire in all its splendor this corner of paradise that enchants numerous tourists and visitors day after day. It is a nature trail in the Lattari mountains, suitable for walks and excursions, which runs along the entire coastal strip for 7 km. In the hamlet of Positano, Nocelle, you will find perhaps the most interesting stretch of the Path of the Gods; in fact, it is here that the landscape becomes suggestive thanks to the alternation of pine forests, caves to explore, and especially spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast.
