Sorrento Wedding Planner & Venues

Sorrento is the gentle side of the coast: lemon groves, a cliff that looks straight at Vesuvius, and Capri twenty minutes away by boat. We choose the venue around you, then plan everything else.

How we choose

Venues chosen around you, not from a list

Sorrento has more wedding venues than any other town on this coast, which is exactly why a list does not help. A cliff-top hotel and a farmhouse among the lemons suit very different couples, guest counts and budgets. We start with you: who is coming, from where, in which month, with what in mind.

Enza’s professional life began here, between Sorrento, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, hosting international guests. She knows which terraces face the sunset, which gardens stay cool in July, and how each place actually works on a wedding day, not just how it photographs.

Once we know you, we send a shortlist of three or four venues that truly fit, with real capacities, availability and costs, and we visit them together. Then Roberta’s styling turns the one you choose into yours.

Getting to Sorrento, and when

From Naples airport
About 1 h 15 by private transfer, or 30 minutes to the port and 40 by high-speed ferry. Sorrento is the easiest town on the coast to reach, which is why large guest lists love it.
Capri and the coast
Capri is 20 minutes by boat, Positano 40 by road, Pompeii 30 by train. Guests can stay in Sorrento and see the whole coast without changing hotels.
Best months
May to early July, then September and October. Sorrento’s evenings are milder than Positano’s, and the town keeps working all year, so spring and autumn dates are easy.
Ceremonies
Sorrento’s town hall celebrates civil ceremonies for foreign couples in the cloister of San Francesco. Catholic and symbolic ceremonies are both possible in villas and gardens. Read the guide to the documents.
