AIRPORTS

The most convenient airports for reaching Lake Iseo are located in Milan and Bergamo.

Closest & Most Recommended Airport:✈️ Milan Bergamo Airport (Orio al Serio – BGY)Approximately 35–45 minutes by car from the lake.

This airport offers numerous European and international connections and is the most practical option for reaching the wedding location.

Alternative airports:

✈️ Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) – approx. 1 hour 30 minutes by car✈️ Milan Linate Airport (LIN) – approx. 1 hour 15 minutes by car

All Milan airports are well connected internationally.

GETTING TO LAKE ISEO

Private Transfer (Recommended)

Travel Time from Bergamo Airport: approx. 40 minutesEstimated Cost: €200–€220 one way (depending on number of guests and luggage)

Private transfers can be arranged in advance for a seamless arrival experience.We are happy to assist with booking.

This is the most comfortable and stress-free option.

Car Rental (Recommended)

Travel Time from Bergamo Airport: approx. 40 minutes

Car rental desks are available directly at the airport, but we highly suggest to book in advance.

We recommend renting a car for your stay, as it offers flexibility to explore the lake, surrounding villages, and nearby vineyards at your own pace.

Parking in the Lake Iseo area is generally easier and more accessible than in larger cities.

Public Transportation (Not Recommended, but Possible)

For guests who prefer public transport, the journey requires multiple connections.

Example route from Bergamo Airport:

Bus from the airport to Bergamo city center

Bus from Bergamo Terminal SAB to Sarnico

Taxi or 10–15 minute walk to your accommodation

Estimated Travel Time: approx. 1 hour 45 minutes – 2 hoursMultiple stops and transfers required.

While this option is more economical, it may be less convenient, especially with luggage.

We generally recommend either a private transfer or car rental for comfort and ease.
